I hate when people say you were born with talent.
I didn't fly out of the womb with a tiny pencil in my hand. I mean, that would have been cool, albeit dangerous, but no, I was born without the pencil.
I had to spend years and years practicing to get where I am and I still have a lot to learn!

In comparison to the newer version, this one has less refined ear and face anatomy. In addition, her hair aren't as natural as in the newer art.

Apparently I drew a very similar portrait a few years ago!
I think there's a little improvement in the shading and a bigger improvement in the anatomy, expression and shapes in general.
