Gorgeous day in the PNW. Our local elk herd even made a showing.

TIL that two people I had been conflating at work are actually two separate individuals when I saw them next to each other talking in the kitchenette.
Now I realize one of them is probably wondering why I say, "hi Matt" every time we pass in the hall. :(

'Godzilla atmospheric river' targets Seattle area with major flooding and landslide threats The "Godzilla atmospheric river" system may bring major flooding, landslide dangers, and a month's worth of rain compressed into just days.

They're calling this a "Godzilla Atmospheric River." Whay don't we just throw the word "Apocolyptic" in there for good measure?

PSA: if you’re playing Borderlands 4 on a console and are constantly battling the software cursor, do yourself a favor and increase the cursor friction and reduce the speed in the options. You can thank me later. 😀

I'm happy to announce that I have just signed on to a new position at EA, working on the new Battlefield game. I'm super excited to be back working on a multiplayer shooter once again.

Hey UI/UX friends - What is an AI tool you have found to be super useful in your work?

This is a double punch to the gut since several of us worked on both of these. Monolith and Cliffhanger were both game studios in Kirkland, WA that were shut down this year.

It was an amazing team with incredible talent, and that's not hyperbole. I was frequently awestruck by the work from my fellow GOATS.

This little lady is often in my back yard. Sometimes with cute little baby bunnies. I think she lives under the tool shed. Tonight I decided to call her Mary Hoppins.

Miro: You should install the desktop client, which is a much better experience.

Also Miro: We're just going to go ahead and repeatedly launch the web client multiple times if you try to sign in or click a link.

Mark my words: that Hot To Go song will end up in some fast food commercial within the next 10 years.

I really hope we get to the point where the world gets to see Disney attempt to do a live action remake of A Goofy Movie, and what that would even look like.

t’s not often we can actually see an eclipse when it happens here in the PNW, but the clouds parted long enough for me to snap this.

Wonder Woman game icons in red, yellow and blue varieties.

Wonder Woman game icons in red, yellow and blue varieties.

Here's a little something pretty safe to share from my previous tenure at Monolith. In addition to designing the logo we saw in the Wonder Woman trailer, I also designed this icon for use in the game. The negative space made by the star creates the second W.

The trophy case at Monolith Productions, circa 2020? Showing a bafta, a bunch of dice awards, a GDC award and just generally a bunch of cool stuff

When I left 'lith and walked past this I remember joking about maybe just taking the bafta with me.

To keep it safe :)

Honestly we wanted to take all the people and tech with us also. But thats a story for beers.

Wow. This really sucks for all my former colleagues there. We have 11 openings we're looking to fill here in Kirkland. Feel free to reach out directly to me.

I know the bar is low, but it was actually one of the better marvel films I’ve seen in a while. I’m wishing I’d rewatched the Edward Norton Hulk movie prior to going though.

Yes, I just bought tickets for Captain America before the **suspiciously delayed** reviews have started coming in, because I live life with reckless abandon.

Didn’t expect to wake up to a major snowfall this morning, so what can I do but sit by a fire and a hot cocoa in my favorite mug?

It kills me that the possessive form of "it" is not "it's" whenever I type it.
