my recurring thought with these movies is that every time i read a plot suggestion that i think is too stupid the movies go ahead and do them anyway. like without fail. fox is in this movie So much

mario galaxy movie was like kinda stupid but better than the first one. maybe its just my expectations were different? its still like Not a movie but there's a shadow of character development and plot that makes the whole thing less disoriented. its also obviously a leading up to a smash bros movie

oh i mean i can like record footage, honestly bc my expectation was just Not being allowed at all im kind of pleasantly surprised you can it just cant be easily transferred off the console wihtout doing so manually lol. theres just not an easy way to blueprint miis since we cant share em directly

revising a few things because i learned just how ridiculous eye customization can get. its a little funny that because face paint exists i cant even really share how i made these lol

it is definitely a strange exclusion... it seems like a lot of things have a sort of compromise-y change that make getting into this game interesting at least. im super interested in the nickname feature insofar as each mii can seemingly have a unique nickname for another mii

the fact you can just turn off every facial feature and paint on an otherwise blank head is unhinged. combined with the fact that they just completely removed the text filter for this game, its really really great

tomodachi life demo has me very happy about everything. i think face paint is a really good compromise between wanting miis to have a more consistent design language and letting players make anything they want. i miss being able to better customize specific parts, but i like the mii art style too
