Trixie was an integral part of guiding the Artemis 2 crew home.

If you haven’t seen PROJECT HAIL MARY yet, I highly, highly, highly recommend it. I very rarely use this word to describe something— It is MAGICAL. I walked out of this film with a smile from ear to ear and I’m pretty damn sure that you will too. It will cure what ails ya!

The Jaws exhibit at the Academy Museum is amazing! I was running around like a little kid.

Fun fact for you, the translation for the tagline on the Polish version of the poster says (seriously): “The Loud American Film”.

I absolutely LOVED that film restoration was mentioned during the Oscars.

It’s a hard and mentally taxing job and for it to actually be brought up on a global scale like that brought a huge smile to my face. 😀

Public service announcement for those seeing that mysterious, German Day of the Dead 4K release…

Shout has not given them the restoration.

They claim it is from “the American interpositive”. There is no record of them ever having access to it. The licensor of the film has never heard of them. 🤷‍♂️

I will never understand the people who watched the Indiana Jones films where there were ghosts melting faces, a cult ripping hearts out of people that were still alive, a 700 year old knight guarding a cup that grants eternal life, but then were like, “Woah. Aliens and time travel? That’s too far.”l

I was working on something with the legendary @thejoedante.bsky.social when an old friend of his suddenly stopped by to show us what he’s got. All were impressed!

SEND HELP fucking rocked! Raimi going full-Raimi is the best Raimi.

40 years later and it's still an incredible crowd-pleaser! The sold out audience was hootin' and hollerin' through the whole film.

All the kudos in the world to the team at @criterion.bsky.social for making Eyes Wide Shut look exactly the way it did in theaters in 1999. This is worlds apart from any other home video release and they should be extremely proud of their work.
