New @wisuprachem.bsky.social article out now! We’ve spoken to our community about what it’s like having an academic career and a growing and changing family. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen ❤️
This paper came out of probably the largest team I’ve ever worked with and some serious data analysis. Huge credit to a fantastic collaborators (pity none of the team except @profdraper.bsky.social here) for making the experiments possible. advanced.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...
I have a 2 year PDRA position available in my group focusing on synthetic organic chemistry for supramolecular materials. Please apply using the link below if you’d be a good fit for the role in Glasgow @uofgchem.bsky.social

Last week I had the pleasure of working for the first time ever on B-07 at @diamondlightsource.bsky.social with Josh, who I did my UG and PhD with at Liverpool. Even found a MChem graduation photo of us. Getting to collaborate with friends is amazing ❤️
So local holidays are super unhelpful when your employer doesn’t recognise them but your childcare does 🙃 #glasgowfair

We are looking at measuring thermal conductivity of some organic thin films, but are struggling to design a set up to do this on a sensible scale. Any ideas?
I have a funded studentship for UK and EU settled students available to start in my lab in October. Project will involve self-assembled organic chromics for sensors.
