They all look pretty cool to be honest. I can’t pick a favorite but I I would think they would make good levels of the same game.
And why would I name it? 🤔 the video looks like you’re inside a giant bee hive with the hexagon pattern looking like honeycombs. So… “escape the hive”?

It looks really cool! Amazing you did that in a few months. I hope to get to that level of skill at some point. Thank you for sharing!
Good luck and more power to you! I tried doing documenting progress daily before and it got to be too much of a time sync for me (a solo developer), so I ended up dropping it. If you figure out a good workflow to do more consistent game dev logs, please do share it with us! 🙂
Wait… do puddles not do that for you in real life? Am I the only one!? 😝
Ha, just kidding. I did want to congratulate you on the reflection in the puddle, though. That was VERY cool. One of those things that you wouldn’t notice if it wasn’t there, but the fact it IS there makes the visuals pop more👏
Hi #gamedev, for #ScreenshotSaturday I wanted to share Tiny Circuit's UI and shout out @cococode.net 's "Master Unity UI" course. He personally to my comments on the course. Incredibly thoughtful - I used them in my game quite a bit and I highly recommend his courses!
Check them out: cococode.net

Let me know what you end up doing because I need to write tests for my current game now that its mechanics are pretty much stable. And good luck 👍!
Be careful not to waste your effort.
Also, with all the systems that interact with each other, end to end tests are going to give you the most ROI. If your game allows it (if it’s turn mashed or has discrete controls), maybe try to write tests that controls the player at a higher time scale.
Hi! Im going to take a guess and say that you’re a software engineer on your day job. I understand the appeal of tests, but found that during the development stage of a game, the functions are too volatile to make it worth it to write tests until the game is closed to being settled.
Same. I honestly find their courses so useful for providing a stable foundation you can then expand upon. I owe a lot to the @gamedevtv.bsky.social courses.
So this is game-dev adjacent, but I finally got around to updating my studio website:
Cromware.com
It looks much more professional now - before it looked like something a kid did on MySpace.
Hi all! This is my first #WishlistWednesday post.

Hi! I'm the dev behind Pattern Painter — a Unity tool that helps you place prefabs in geometric patterns on your level.
I recently updated it to v2 and made a new with a new trailer for it; I would love to hear what you think!
