#RiversDemoFlood 1879: Thigh Span @ 80
2015
From the White Year
Title aside, this 24 second guitar sketch (featuring lead and rhythm guitars) is a nice piece of music.
Although Rivers didn't seem to think so because he left it in the 'Demos-rejects' folder.
Ouch.

Jon Husted, who is a black hole of personality, has never had an original thought in his life.
Oh, and Cherry Berry is too good a song for us mere mortals.
Weezer and Universal Music both wanted to fuck each over after the contract's expiration in 2009, so the band rushed Hurley into production, scrapping the existing recordings and hastily producing the album we got to undercut Death to False Metal and Pinkerton Deluxe.
The Laughing Ogre was my shop when I lived in Columbus. And Gib was just like this article says- friendly and knowledgeable. The LO is a great place and that's because of Gib and the staff.

#RiversDemoFlood 1878: High of 69
2015
From the White Year
This 18 second guitar riff is the first of three takes of High of 69, which would eventually become I Can't Find the Words, an okay song.
It's a droney riff that doesn't stand on its own.

This thought had been stuck in my head for years, and I finally had to do something about it.
I am still inordinately proud of my nonsense…
I read this a while ago, and I've done it since.

As someone who was at the SoS when he came into office, LaRose was all about lip service, telling people whatever they wanted to hear while sucking up to Trump and making decisions on his behalf.

No notes
But this voice note sounds like Rivers recorded it while hiding under blankets and trying not to make any noise. It's just a few ideas, which he didn't revisit for at least another 12 years (if he reused this at all).

#RiversDemoFlood 1877: I'm So Happy to See You All
March 1998
From the Green Years/Black Room
The first half of this 31 second vocal sketch sounds really familiar. Like I can swear Rivers reused this melody during the EWBAITE years, but I can't put my finger on when.
It's a good melody...
In Jersey it doesn’t matter. You can wander into any diner on any Route across the entire state and you’ll get the exact same mirrored walls and etched glass dividers. Cake and pie counter. Bottomless coffee. Open 24 hours. You don’t even need to open a menu b/c you already know what’s on it.
If you ask for a birthday celebration from your waiter, I think the restaurant staff should be able to throw a flashbang on your table and have you arrested by SWAT.
Best part of the haunted hotel's bar was the balloon lady.
The FBI guy is on a paranoid bender and won’t leave his room.
The War guy quotes bible passages from Pulp Fiction.
The Health guy collects raccoon dicks.
It’s an Idiocracy on steroids.
But it didn't go anywhere. And all of these idea clips are undeveloped.

#RiversDemoFlood 1876: Toby Gad Idea 10
2006-2010
From the Red-Raditude-Hurley Years
There are a number of these Toby Gad idea clips in the RRH bundle. And they're all very similar; a melodic, acoustic tune, with vocalizations and Rivers occasionally singing 'I see love.'
It's not a bad idea...
Restaurants too!
What does God need with a starship?
Probably the effect of basing your entire podcast around bringing down the global pedophile syndicate, seeing proof of its existence, and then realizing your day job makes you one of its strongest soldiers.
His crashout will be legendary.
It shocks me how many businesses still don’t seem to get that Trump’s cultural revolution did not actually happen
Yo, hold up
Also, I should note that I'm in the picture that USA Today used for Tommy's:
USA Today is running a vote for the best diner in America and of course Tommy's Diner in Columbus is on the list.
It's currently at 3. Should be number 1.
Let there be no question that moving off of fossil fuels means freeing ourselves from the shackles revealed by Trump's Iran war. Anyone arguing for keeping a fossil fuel economy wants us all in chains and at the mercy of a dying, inefficient way of doing things.
I'm sure that some of them are naturally mediocre at best. But in the last few years, they've all taken on this scowling/brutish/tough guy persona (to emulate Trump) and it makes them all ineffective communicators.
It's not just the Yankees, but yeah, the never ending sounds need to stop.
You know what gets the fans loud and engaged? A winning team.
