Still stuck in terrible VHS quality limbo

This movie is crazy bad.

Season 2 of #Beef really went off the rails. The actors were good... and there were enjoyable things about it. But a real step down from the original.

Plus there was a lot of talk about not having serialized storylines at all because of TP’s “failure”. And then after a while pretty much every show became serialized.

Exactly- at first tv in general pulled away from any influence (even vocally saying they learned from TP’s failure). And then after a bit TP’s influence could pretty much be felt in everything.

It definitely was- and certainly part of why FWWM was met with so much hatred. Even Kyle, Lara and Sherilyn tried to distance themselves.

People turned on it so hard back then.

Seriously! I guess the writers haven’t seen how crazy gay bear twitter goes for Harbour. But… it’s such a refreshing show you can forgive it.

DTF St. Louis is so different and interesting. But the one part that isn’t believable is that David Harbour wouldn’t be getting hits on the dating app.

Authoring error I think - as the German blu is supposedly fine. It’s basically a good 9 or 10 minutes that sound metallicy and echoey. But they never fixed it (or even acknowledged it). Hopefully it’ll get another (better) release.

To clarify- I meant it’s Humongous that has botched audio. Prom Night has a great release.

Funny thing is Prom Night used to be so dark you couldn’t see much in some scenes as well. The Synapse blu was a revelation and made the movie much better.

Too bad the US blu ray has an entire reel with botched audio.

I don’t know why I try watching any modern horror. I always want to like them way more than I actually do.
