#11, Mega Man 1
So I randomly decided to play Mega Man 1 because YouTube kept reccomending me Mega Man videos. I booted up Switch Online and played Mega Man the Wily Wars, which is basically Super Mario All Stars for Mega Man. This was surprisingly a ton of fun! Hard, but thank God for rewind!

Super excited for this! Digimon World DS was my favorite up until Time Stranger. I know its flawed, but damn this game was so much fun! Good luck with the final push!
Really torn on what my next RPG is gonna be. Right now I'm playing Donkey Kong Country 2 and Pokopia, but I'm really in the mood for a good JRPG. I could start Dawntrail, but I'm moving soon and wanna play something on Switch. Any suggestions? I've played most of the Switch's exclusives.
#10, Donkey Kong Country
The DKC games meant a lot to me as a kid, but ive never finished them. At some point throughout the year, I'd like to play through the original trilogy plus the 2 new ones on Switch. Anyways, this was a short but fun time. Diddy Kong is the best!
So while I finished the main story of Dragon Quest 2 HD2D last night, tonight I did the post game and got the true ending. Yeah, this is easily my 2nd favorite Dragon Quest. The ending got me a little teary-eyed! Replaying the trilogy in HD2D was a true joy. I love this series so much!
Thank you very much!
So yeah. Thank you for reading if anyone actually did. Like always, this is basically just my internet journal I dont expect anyone to read. It just helps to get my thoughts out. Thank you!
Ontop of all that, I will have weekends off, and ill be closer to a card shop. I might actually try and meet new friends at the card store! Im still not sure if I will, im horribly anxious about going somewhere by myself. But maybe! The option is there at least!
And ontop of that, more grocery options that just Walmart! Where i live now, if we wanna go out and eat, there are like 5 fast food options, 2 pizza places, 2 sit down locations, and 1 place to order Chinese takeout. For groceries, we just have walmart. Im so excited to have more!
And also ill finally have more food options! I cant stand where ive lived until now. The new house isnt perfect, but the area at least isnt the middle of nowhere anymore. I'll have so many more fast food options, ontop of tons of places to sit down at and eat!
Im trying to keep up with my gaming goals. With my new job, unless im budgeting horribly wrong, I should have enough to safety buy a new video game per paycheck, so I can finally catch up on all that ive missed. And the new job has a set schedule, so im hoping that helps me stay consistent.
I mean, im moving too. Not terribly far, but yeah. No friends left to hang out with in person anymore. My wife keeps asking me why im so stressed. And its just that everything in my life is changing so fast. Some of it for the best, some of it for the worst, none of it was I ready for.
My other close friend hasn't spoken to me since October. He got married and abandoned all his friends when that happened. I used to have a group I hung out with about every other week, and I was excited to make that a once a week deal, but that friend's fiancé left him and he moved across the state.
I dont get to celebrate my birthday at all because of me starting a new job right then. But honestly even if that wasnt the case, my friends arent around anymore. My best friend who comes over roughly once a month is moving across the state.
So she took all our pets to work, and I have to leave my house for an extended period of time today because my stupid landlord won't wait 3 weeks for us to be out before showing the house. I also only have 3 days before starting my new job, and ontop of it all, my birthday is tuesday.
As you can see, im very stressed. Ontop of that, my landlord is doing showings on the house today. Even though our closing should be 3 weeks away, she won't wait. And my wife is not allowing me to stay home during the showings, as to not intimidate the potential buyers.
The process of moving is already alot, but we are on a short time frame with our landlord selling our house, and im also starting a new job. And I cant leave this job no matter how rough it may get, because without it I couldn't afford the bills at the new place.
But its very stressful knowing that the mortgage is my responsibility. And its frustrating knowing that I was going to be getting paid significantly more, almost double my current pay, but my financial situation will basically stay the same because my part of the bills goes up with it.
But since we have pets, we decided to buy a place. Technically there are rentals in the area that allow pets, but we have too many for most places. Besides, when all is said and done our mortgage isnt much more than the average rent in the area.
But like I said, we are in the process of moving too. My new job is roughly an hour drive, so we are moving closer to the city so my drive should only be about 15 min. My wife is a vet tech and is hoping that when we move closer to the city, she will have more jobs available to her as well.
Ontop of that, we are moving. We wanted to move anyways, but we basically had to because our landlord is trying to sell our house out from under us. We offered to pay more in rent, but she wouldnt hear it. That has been absolutely infuriating.
So. A lot has been happening in my life. I finally quit the job ive been working at for 6 years now. Its crazy to think about. After all this time, im moving forward. I start my new job on Monday and im beyond nervous for it. A lot rides on me being able to do this job well and for a long time.
#9, Dragon Quest 2 HD2D
Wow. This was a serious upgrade compared to the original DQ2. I absolutely loved this game! The presentation is fantastic, but the voice acting and story changes really elevated this remake to an insane degree. 11 is still my favorite DQ, this is now a very close 2nd for me.
Get to know my Steam backlog, 1 like = 1 game I own but have never played
I'm feeling like talking about it
Absolutely wild but I may have the opportunity to not only BUY a house, but a decently nice house in an area I want to live in?? I really dont want to get my hopes up here but its looking likely which blows my mind.
#8, Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker Postgame/Patch Content
This took awhile. I didnt want to lose the sprout, and I didnt love the FF4 retelling story. That being said, I'm very excited to get into Dawntrail and catch up with everyone! FF14 remains one of my favorite games of all time!
Gotta love a fellow Owlboy enjoyer! One of my favorite indie titles of all time, without a doubt!
#7, Pokemon LeafGreen
Had to take advantage of the Switch re-release to replay a classic! A fun time! It took longer than I expected, 19 hours to finish. The final grind was annoying, and Starmie really carried me through the E4. Fantastic time and I loved this team!
Honestly, im not sure what im playing after that. The options I'm looking at is Dawntrail, Pokopia, and Yukuza Like a Dragon. Really uncertain which one I wanna tackle first tbh.
Feeling great about my gaming progress lately! Im at the end of LeafGreen right now, might wrap that up tonight possibly. Besides leveling on FF14, the only other game I'm playing is Dragon Quest 2 HD2D, and I'm at the halfway point roughly right now. About a week and I should be done there too!
