I, too, was once teleported to a 24 hour breakfast place from the Tracks nightclub here in Denver. It was the hand of 4 shots of tequila and a cab.

Someone come save me from this cat. She destroyed her favorite toy two days ago and she's very upset. She's been crying since and the replacement doesn't get here until today.

WebAIM: The WebAIM Million - The 2026 report on the accessibility of the top 1,000,000 home pages

Y'all this is why you have to care about digital accessibility beyond alt text. Yes, it's important but it's not everything. You could have every image with alt text on every site and still have an inaccessible internet

They turned Euphoria into GTA: the television show and you know what? I am going to watch this last season instead of recaps because of that.

It's a great day as my unemployment is now inactive due to me taking on enough client work to make myself ineligible. I worked for myself before 2013 only going into corporate life for the need of insurance. My hope is that I don't need to go back to anytime soon.

3) The short I directed and edited for a festival took a lot of time. It's a 5 minute silent film. While you don't have to worry about sound other than music. You do have to be extremely detailed in editing to make sure the narrative comes through with the actors face and body movements.

I haven't been posting much on my public social media. 1) Everyday brings fresh horrors. I want to be informed but overwhelmed so I keep up with the news but limit social media. 2) I've picked up two sizable projects helping companies remediation and structuring workflows to ensure a11y.

Cover of the "Zero Barriers! community research guide. At the top are the Smithsonian and Science for Global Goals logos. The title "ZERO BARRIERS!" appears in large bold italic text, followed by the subtitle "How can we support access in our community?" Below is a collage of six photos arranged in interlocking puzzle piece shapes, depicting: a wheelchair user working alongside a colleague at an industrial site; two children smiling in a swimming pool wearing goggles; a person forming a shape with their hands, suggesting sign language; a teacher or tutor working one-on-one with a young student; a close-up of a prosthetic foot being adjusted; and a person using a motorized mobility scooter boarding an accessible public bus. At the bottom, the guide is credited as developed by the Smithsonian Science Education Center, in collaboration with IAP Science Health Policy (the Interacademy Partnership).

I had the honor of contributing to Smithsonian Science Education Center's newest community research guide, Zero Barriers! as a Project Advisor

The guide helps younger people to investigate barriers in their community and use STEM & social science to innovate real-world solutions for accessibility

I wonder if all the places that have ordinances that forbid low-rise and sagging pants will still enforce them now Chanel is using that style for their current collection's silhouette. ๐Ÿค”

I'm gonna move to San Francisco and start selling peptides. The catch is nobody will know it's actually just a capsule full of celery seeds. It's not lying because you can get peptides from eating stuff.

It's time for me to find a Grammarly alternative. There seems to only be three that come close to the core, non-gen AI mechanics of Grammarly, but I only need something that helps me with my horrible spelling and grammar correction.

"AI means anyone can be a software developer"

A question that's going unasked: Is AI capable of testing beyond just the acceptance criteria given to it?

Again just like when automation was the hottest thing in tech, AI is being used to get rid of QA/testers completely because tech devalues them.

You know what would be a better use of Flock cameras in Colorado than on the streets of Denver? Early wildfire detection. This summer unless we get a few major snow storms next month will probably be one of the worst years in a while.
