Started a photo wall:

I spent the afternoon installing an HD texture upgrade pack for FFXI and getting it running at 60fps. I can actually clearly see the maps now!

I played for 5 years and never even got to the (at the time) 75 level cap. LOL I was able to recover my character and my level 70 MNK is still chilling in Jeuno.

LOL I always heard those rumors but never saw it actually confirmed. The impact that those factors had, if any, were incredibly minimal. That being said, no quest markers, vague instructions and the like make questing VERY challenging.

I have to use guides or spend time exploring randomly for quests and missions. It's wild to experience this again but also to see how they made attempts at fixing a lot of the quality of life demands that the game needed. I'm actually having fun. Anyone else still play or interested in joining me?

Don't ask me why but I started playing FFXI again. Yes, XI... Not XIV. It's archaic and inconvenient but at the same time... The lack of convenience forces you to interact more deeply with the world. It's gripping and yet laughable at the same time.

This new game is relevant to my interests. LOL

Been working on a little model kit for a couple of weeks to add a little tchotchke to the shelves upstairs. Just finished it up. I think it looks cute.

PC is fixed! Years of issues ended up being a bad motherboard. PC now runs about 30-40⁰C cooler
