NASA's Blue Marble picture of Earth, from 1972
It's only worth going back to the Moon if it makes us look properly again at Earth, and appreciate how beautiful, precious and fragile what we have here is. The most famous images from Apollo aren't about the Moon - they're pictures of Earth. We need to stop taking our home for granted.

Premier David Eby speaks with media after 10 killed, including shooter, in Tumbler Ridge.
“I know that one of the things we do best is look after each other, and I’m asking British Columbia’s to look after the people of Tumbler Ridge tonight.”
Beauty day at Lake Louise with these two 😍
I’d add earplugs and a good pillow. Take care, and let me know if you need anything.

Under current climate policies, 79 per cent of the world’s glaciers will disappear by 2100, endangering the water supply for 2 billion people and raising sea levels dramatically

Quite the scathing 'epilogue' that Justice Feasby added to his decision, in response to legislation tabled by Alberta's UCP government just yesterday:
BREAKING: Matt Jones, one of Alberta's health ministers, just said the private surgical facilities for Red Deer and Lethbridge have been cancelled. Those two projects are owned in part by Sam Mraiche.
