The theme to Pigeons caught the ears of many, including Quincy Jones who asked Edd, nicknamed Cotton by Quincy, to play with him on the theme of The Anderson Tapes. Soon, other artists like Burt Bacharach, Leonard Bernstein, Henry Mancini and Hugo Montenegro were also working with Edd.

It's even weirder when you consider EA made a deal with a really short lived site called "MixTheMusic" and sold the multitracks, the raw audio files for each instrument that makes up the song, for Sims 2 and 3. Even weirder is that they weren't complete! Almost demo versions missing stuff.
We've had it on the "todo" list for awhile now. I don't think EA is like Konami or Capcom however, where you see smaller independent labels cutting deals and releasing classic soundtracks.

Different reason for me, it's the arpeggios which make the music *sound* way more complex then it really is. Compositions are fine, but get rid of the hardware limits forcing him to constantly swap notes for pitch bends, etc. and it's a pretty standard track.
