Lightning Gundam is one of those designs that clearly had potential for expansion. It has 3mm ports all over the place, but instead of using them, they opted to just change it's backpack. I would have loved to see a design that utilizes those ports, possibly a full armor version 🧐

WIP update on my custom Hazel.
I think I'm satisfied with the current balance of parts. I just need to clean and refine them a bit. Proportion was also adjusted by extending the lower torso so it doesn't look so squat.

Next step will be extending the torso proportion a bit and adding actual weaponries. I need to rummage through my spare parts to find something that matches. 🤔

Clever use of the Hrududu II parts!😯

That Zaku looks so good, even by just standing there looking imposing! 🤩

I wouldn't mind if Bandai/Sunrise takes a one year break from releasing brand new animated Gundam series or OVA.

Instead, they should dedicate a year on continuing forgotten Gunpla line such as HG Revive, RE/100, Master Grade 2.0, etc. Or, possibly even catch up on re-issues of past kits.

Thanks! If you're referring to the third image, that's a kitbash of the HG ZZII and the HG Rezel, along with other miscellaneous parts from different kits.

I don't really have a specific favorite since each of my past builds have their own sentimental values, but here are some I'd like to share:

I also really like Zoids. In fact, the first model kit I ever built was a motorized Zoids kit when I was around 6yrs old!

I have several HMM kits in my backlog, so hopefully, I'll get around to building another before the end of this year. Otherwise, I'll make it my goal for 2025! 😊

Both Gundam X opening themes are probably my all-time faves. It's hard to beat that 90's city pop vibe 😎

My entry point was a VHS copy of the Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz OVA. I didn't quite understand it at the time, but the art style and mecha designs won me over. Then, to my surprise, the TV series began airing months after on Toonami! And the rest is history. 🤓
