There has never been any "it's better to be a straight girl than a gay boy." If anything, it's been more like the reverse—being trans, even transhet, is seen as more extreme than being gay, and my experience has borne that out.

It’s actually frightening what a big correlation this is. Even on the individual scale. When they come after us, they are usually pretty dirty. N it’s disheartening that the public hasn’t caught onto it bcz it kinda indicates that even if quiet, their thoughts are still aimed at guarding against US.
