Not heard of many things to celebrate in the last 24 hours, but my son’s best friend has passed his driving test. Another teenager with a life skill.

The main reason for using Amazon for me is the availability of products is not necessarily seasonal.
I’d quite happily not hear about AI for a while too.
The posters/adverts of bible verses on the back of the buses here takes some getting used to for a blow-in like me.

You wait until you hear about who hates who in Northern Ireland.
Archaeologists in the Holy Land just uncovered a 3,000-year-old Israelite tablet…
It reads: “Iran is only weeks away from developing a nuclear weapon.”
One of the worst things to happen to society in the last 30 years has been the normalisation of gambling. We should go back to there being no advertising of it on TV and the shops having opaque windows, making it look like the seedy pastime that it is. anon_opin GOLD from 11th December 2023

Thicker than a submarine door.
Fireworks display won’t disappoint.
A very strange thing has occurred in Ormeau Park, Belfast this morning. The footpaths are dry, the sun is shining and it feels pleasantly warm in the sunshine. I am going to jinx it. I’m going to put my washing on the line.
