trying to make art right now feels horrible and foreign. like the weight of i feel is too much to let anything escape. the edges are too raw. there is so much beauty around me and it cuts me terribly to witness it. when I try and draw it's just her.
please don't let this put you off if you were interested in our roommate post. i am doing the best i can be under the circumstances and am blessed to have a community of people who love her and love me taking care of me. i aspire to live the best i can for both of us.
hi all-- please excuse me if I am gone for a long time. my longterm girlfriend died in a car crash about a week and a half ago and i am 1) dealing with all the mundanity of settling someone's affairs 2) feeling like the full weight of the planet jupiter is on top of me. i miss her terribly.
