Yeah, dlss 5 is using generative ai to “upscale” characters, this is what it does to the oblivion remaster also. Worth noting that dlss doesn’t usually use genAI otherwise as far as I’m aware but with 5… yeah 🥲

It’s called all the living and the dead btw for anyone who wants to check it out, the author interviews people who work in fields that handle death like embalmers, funeral directors, crime scene cleaners, etc. definitely not for the faint of heart, gets into the topic of death in detail. Sometimes I hate people but when I think about how different the human experience is and how everyone has love for things important to them I get very emotional and I realize being human is so badass. The diversity of emotions people feel from art is so badass.

I love that everything is so important to someone like there are so many movies or shows or games etc I don’t fw at all but I’m happy they mean something to other people, make them feel things and are important to them. It’s so awesome that everyone is different and has love for different things
