We have lots of Muslim neighbors and our oldest's best friend is Muslim so like, yeah, if a mosque gets graffitied I'll probably see one of our friends post about it and say "that sucks I'm sorry buddy" but that does not mean "this is the only thing that has ever sucked" for god's sake
Every time I express sympathy for any reason for a Muslim person, there are like 3-4 people I’m acquaintances with who immediately ask me if I also think it’s bad when bad things happen to Jewish people. Seems the concept of “multiple things can be true simultaneously” is really elusive
