I feel you!
Ah, interesting! But probably a couple of months too early for me :). Still working on a prototype/ demo and I had no opportunity yet to look into pitch deck, branding etc.
Better yet, don’t spend time creating them in the first place until you prove it to be fun.
Oh please do!
Feel free to ping me in a comment or so :)
As professional level designer I can only say that the map building process I would probably enjoy quite a lot :) Though it will be different to be in charge of design and art at the same time for sure.
Indeed!
Been a while since I thought about that one. Will do some more research on it again :)
No pressure then, I guess? :D
Sounds pretty dope! I can't find anything on your profile I think. Let me know if there is some info out there. :)
Exciting!
What's your game about?
You and me both! lol
Thank you so much! They are both on my list to "inspect closer", so it makes me happy to hear that :)
Thank you!
The genre will be a blend between traditional Zelda dungeons (with utility based exploration) and the narrative of Hades :)
Pretty cool! What do you use for blocking out? And what engine is this?
Returnal somehow :D
But that's ok I think? I am researching how I wanna do it for my game, so I just got curious how other devs in similar situations handle it. I will probably try taking photo references or images and then use 'Texture Ripper' to correct the perspective, pixelate the images a little and into an atlas.
Thank you!
Looks great in my book!
How did you approach the texturing? For example the clock looks really interesting.
The first one is all in all a very good Zelda game (don’t give up early, as the first hour or two give a wrong impression). The second one started to jump a bit on the loot and open world trend , but still has a few cool dungeons.
Darksiders 1 and 2 is a good start :)
One of the inspirations :) thanks!
Thanks! I am glad you like it :) We have some cool things coming up, but it will also be a while until the full gameplay loop is implemented and testable.
You will find out more here though :P
Thanks so much :)
I started in mid September this year, but also just in my spare hours after work or when I can squeeze some in.
Whoops, sorry. I reposted the post due to a typo in the hashtags.
Good start!
Looking forward to find out more.
Looks dope!
Will do :D
Already looks very inviting to explore :)
Man, just when I am visiting Germany for a bit :D can't wait to come back to Stockholm.
Thanks for the tip! I wasn’t aware.
