Caricature image of Donald Trump wearing a diaper and a suit top, sitting on a brick wall with a bag of money next to him. His pointing and laughing at Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam, who are standing dejected and worn with eyes downcast. Image text reads "Trumpty Dumpty said he'd build a big wall / Trumpty Dumpty said tariffs would beat them all / But he takes us for fools with policies so chumpy / So now we stand up and fight for Dumptying Trumpty".

Under any other administration, this would have been quashed quickly, with forces uniting to educate and inoculate those who needed it.

Instead, it's spreading from state to state.

We need to make "Trump" = "f*ck up with willful (perhaps selfish) ignorance".

Those teenagers at the park? They really trumped things up for the little kids.

Boomers complaining about the fireworks? They trumped out the holiday.

Man, that Russian agent? He really trumped all over our country.

Two panel political cartoon. First panel: person labeled "Elon" holding a baseball bat casually over his shoulder, standing next to wall shelves with a variety of ceramic vessels; each vessel has a letter on it, collectively spelling out "government". Second panel: shelves are empty, with a pile of shards on the floor; Elon is holding the bat up as if having just used it to smash the vessels, with speech bubble "Government's broken...". Cartoonist: Mike Luckovich in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

He's breaking it into pieces so he can sell it for parts ("privatize" it). That way everything can be "efficient" and "wonderful" – just like health insurance is!!

Green card holder from New Hampshire 'interrogated' at Logan Airport, detained Fabian Schmidt’s family said they are unsure of why he is being held. They said he has a recently renewed green card, and no active issues in court.

Holy hell.

"stripped naked, put in a cold shower", "pressured to give up his green card [...] placed on a mat in a bright room with other people [...] with little food or water [...] sleep deprivation [...] denied access to his medication for anxiety and depression"

Indeed. Genuine questions swirling in my head today, as an infosec nerd who's been out of the NGO/policy space for a while:

1) Who's working to put clear-speaking infosec folks in front of congresscritters who might actually care/take action?

2) What help is needed to make legal actions happen?

Department of Education FormLock

The Trump administration has launched a portal where you can report DEI in schools, "ensuring all students have access to meaningful learning free of divisive ideologies and indoctrination."

You know what to do: enddei.ed.gov
