Horrifying.
100 strikes in 10 minutes across Lebanon, incl Beirut.
Over 200 ppl killed and 1000+ injured by occupation's Operation "Eternal Darkness". Israel says no ceasefire on its part.
Iran has responded saying Strait of Hormuz will not reopen unless ceasefire includes Lebanon & Gaza.
I know someone’s going to look at this and reference that tweet about how as Apartheid South Africa was falling, they bombed all their neighbors as an accelerationist gasp of dying empire.
I know; but seeing this feels like Israel remains an unchecked death machine, no signs of stopping in sight.
Cornish Mazraa Beirut just now. Israel is bombing throughout Lebanon
Post"Ceasefire" Negotiations will center on 10 points from Iran, incl:
-Permanent end to the war
- End to Israeli strikes in Lebanon
- Lifting of all US sanctions on Iran
- Iran would reopen Strait
- Iran would establish rules & fees (2 million per ship split w Oman) for passage through Hormuz
We’re all waiting for the 8pm alarm as if Israel and the US are not massacring civilians, obliterating non-military infrastructures, destroying the world, every second leading up to whatever horror awaits the night.
I truly cannot bear to see what this evening will bring.
It’s strange to scroll through this depraved timeline today and be confronted with so many invocations of “illegal.” As if “the law” and its juridical kith hold any relevancy or power three years into a live-streamed genocide.
"While there is no documented evidence that Iran has a nuclear weapon or is close to developing one, there is another state in the Middle East whose nuclear arsenal exists as an open secret. That state is, of course, Israel, and its nuclear arsenal,

“What shall we do then, those of us who are still alive? Burned and blind and bald and ill, carrying the cancerous carcasses of our children in our arms, where shall we go? What shall we eat? What shall we drink? What shall we breathe?”
Those in the imperial core owe the world much much more.

"Despite repression and assaults, dozens of worshippers managed to perform Eid prayers on Salah al-Din Street in occupied Jerusalem, after Israeli forces prevented them from holding prayers in the Bab al-Sahira area, while the closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque continues."(Eye on Palestine) #WestBank
Seeing videos of comrades blowing up weapons manufacturing plants and pictures of comrades breaking the siege to deliver aid to Cuba, all while I’m stooped over the stove caramelizing six onions for a giant serving of Mujadara.
What a beautiful day, Eid Mubarak friends.
Helyeh Doutaghi on x: It’s not lost on me that the attack on South Pars occurred on the eve of the anniversary of Iran’s oil nationalization—a significant assertion of sovereignty over natural resources. That assertion was met first with a CIA-backed coup against the democratically elected government that claimed that right; it then evolved into decades of US-led sanctions designed to cripple the ability to develop those resources; and it has now culminated in the US bombing the very infrastructure built despite those efforts to halt it. Equally important is that South Pars is home to Iran’s largest anti-imperialist labor union, defending workers’ rights while protecting them from imperialist appropriation. This attack, therefore, is also a direct assault on the union and its significant struggle for workers rights
It’s precisely because of the anti-imperialist stance expressed by the workers that the us-zios bombed the South Pars gas fields. Workers also a symbol of resistance against US imperialism and for sovereignty even as they called for betterment of their conditions.
Invaluable from Helyeh Doutaghi.

🚨LEQAA KORDIA RELEASED: Palestinian activist Leqaa Kordia, detained by ICE for nearly a year after the Columbia Gaza protest crackdown, has been released on $100,000 bond, according to the New York Times. 🔹 An immigration judge granted the bond March 13, 2026, the third time a court has ordered her release after the government previously blocked earlier rulings. She was released today (Monday). 🔹 NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani raised Kordia’s case with the White House during a Feb. 26 meeting with President Trump, asking that immigration cases against four Columbia-linked activists be dropped. 🔹Kordia, a Palestinian from East Jerusalem, was arrested by ICE on March 13, 2025 after attending Gaza solidarity protests at Columbia University; her protest-related charges were later dropped.
Defending Rights & Dissent @RightsDissent BREAKING: Leqaa Kordia is out of detention! The news comes after more than 1 year of her confinement, as a judge ordered her release on bond for a third time on Friday

Afghans make up world’s largest refugee population. Nearly 1 in 7 refugees worldwide are Afghan, 90% of whom live in Iran, under current bombardment, and Pakistan, under “emergency” internment, with both nations regularly deporting refugee populations. Unbearable cruelty in every dimension.
I find it completely shocking (though not entirely surprising in light of the shit show mainstream media has been the last 2 years) that we don't have plausible confirmation that Netanyahu is alive and USS Lincoln has not been disabled by Iran.
Habermas was always a PoS:

It’s that time of year when the media ecosystem that normalizes genocide, imperialism, and apartheid comes knocking on the doors of student organizers for comments and “perspectives”.
Refuse assisting media institutions which imperil comrades around the world! Hold the line! Don’t collaborate!
This book is excellent, and now seems like a particularly good time to suggest folks read it.

Why the fuck is this still happening
