I want to share that this resonated with me in a profound way. My soul furbaby recently passed on, and I dreamt of a field of forgetmenots blossoming endlessly over her. This as well as the dream gave me so much comfort. I’ll be ordering forgetmenots to place next to her ashes when she returns home.

Thank you so much. Everyone is telling me to enjoy things as much as I can in her honor, but I don’t know how I’ll get through this holiday without wishing she was here, playing with the wrapping paper, laying on my lap looking up at me. She was so healing. Always there when life hurt.

She just turned 13 this December. She was so funny, incredibly smart, and the sweetest girl. My little shadow. She followed me everywhere, everyday. I’ve had her since I was a teen finishing up high school, and I’m turning 30 in a few days.

I miss feeling the weight of her body resting on me.
