Open world used to almost exclusive to sandbox games and imo that's p much the major defining factor for a game to be open world outside of the game taking place in a single large world space

I feel people will call anything that has areas you can come back to and have collectables open world lol

a ton of work to get stuff functioning but I've now got dysis in frontier framework. I have even implemented metal and non metal materials on the same surface. I still need to update some animations for the new skeleton additions but I should be able to start building some of dysis' stuff soon

ill be opening up commissions again soon, ill be making a proper post about it at the start of may. got to finish some stuff up first

Fixed the preview for face textures in blender lol. now its displaying with the proper colors

I can work in Unreal, Unity, and probably whatever in-house engine you'll throw at me. I have worked on DLC for Sniper Elite 5, various community mod projects, and custom maps for TF2 and Half-Life 2.

Beautiful Nali seaside town, overrun by Kralls. I really like the level design in this, the way it loops on itself is very satisfying. I still can't believe that this thing has a working day/night cycle. I can't even begin to imagine how it was implemented.

I've been playing The One for Unreal. This is some extremely high quality stuff. The scale of these maps is immense, and overall it's an explorer's delight. It's got a crossbow you can use as a grappling hook that attaches on wood. Icing on the cake? Weather effects, and a day/night cycle. Yeah.

I could have got more done this week but I spent most of my non scheduled time playing monster hunter lol
