Hangman absolutely got raked over the coals for that and it's probably going to continue to get brought up for the rest of his career. People will forget about this one very fast. The parasociality cuts both ways

I KNOW i feel so petty for this because I'm obviously very happy that mjfs reign was good and enjoyable to watch but like. Why couldn't hangman have had any of that? And then people inexplicably blame him and say he's a lacklustre champion when the problem was the challengers..

Not at all to say I think this is a bad idea but I wouldn't hope for short builds between the ppvs, more that this is a stop on the way in a story they know what they're doing with

I mean sure, but all in is kind of a different beast... Last year they had nearly 2 months between don and all in and it was the best PPV to PPV build the company ever did. I found the monthly ppv pattern at the back half of the year quite exhausting by the end with so little time to build stories.

The vibe I'm getting at least from SoSu is that aew aren't decided yet on the main event of all in and they're making things chaotic and open to change. There is a sense of unpredictability all over the card tbf, which is maybe to counteract the foregone conclusion of ospreay leaves Wembley champion
