Absolutely, positively outraged about the cuts to NIH research funding...and this coming from somebody already retired who no longer has to deal with grants and such. 🤬
Sure, an indirect cost rate of 60+% may *sound* too high, but those who actually understand (or care) know the reason for this.
I'm trying to learn more about generative AI, in an attempt to better be able to spot deep fakes in an increasingly deep fake world.
So first off, I asked an AI to create a Thanksgiving dinner tableau for me.
It's a start...though admittedly, this mutant abomination still needs some work.
