Bowel cancer screening | Bowel Cancer UK Learn about the different screening programmes currently in use across the UK and what tests are available.

Colonoscopy is the gold standard for diagnosing bowel cancer, but a very helpful home test is also available — the FIT test is normally done as part of screening after age 50, but you can ask your GP for it if you have any changes in your bowel movements

Niche question, but does anyone have access to the Toronto Star Weekly digital archive?

There's an interview with Emmeline Pankhurst in the 16 October 1926 edition which I'd love to be able to read...

Lovely to see more butterflies this summer compared to last year. Lots of cabbage whites, and this fine fellow too, sunbathing on the fence for ages this evening

I get a whole smoked salmon every Christmas from the journal I review regularly for. It took me by surprise the 1st time it happened!

Indian Journal of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, and Journal of Personalized Medicine are the ones I've just spotted... I'm hoping there aren't more! There are lots of red flags with a bit of digging so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. Thanks for the help.

Unless you've had ear surgery before then using olive oil drops in your ears a few days before the dewax at bedtime can help soften the wax and make it easier to remove. Good luck!
