I think Bill has definitely demonstrated some change, but he still makes remarks about how nice it would be if we could liberate the Iranian people. That just suggests to me that he still has some of that neocon comic book morality. But right now, we’re not in a position to be picky about allies.

If neocon Tim Miller, Jeb Bush true believer Tim Miller, can move far enough to the left to be saying the above highlights, what is happening to the rest of the voter base? I’m a younger millennial and honestly just had no idea how to get involved in politics so I never did. But now I’m like well damn if I want the progressive wave to happen off the back of this nightmare we’re in, then I gotta go do something about it. Public service is a sacrifice for sure though

Yeah, I guess I just wonder how many millennials tried to run for office and got shut out by big money. Like I genuinely wonder. It could be that few tried to run at all, but it could also be that virality didn’t work the same way when they were running so they couldn’t get traction.
I don’t think we failed man, we got kinda fucked over by the establishment a bit didn’t we? Like the DNC straight up just changed some of the 2016 primary votes from Bernie to Hillary.
Kat’s campaign proved there is a strong desire for a proper left in American politics. Her campaign is one for the history books. Infinitely proud of her.

Kat at least ran a campaign she can be proud of. She ran on her terms and actually believed in something. Lakshya is just a vapid substack writer who believes in nothing and will never actually do anything that takes courage, like running for office.
Kat ran a truly amazing campaign and she has amazing things ahead of her. I cannot wait to see where her career goes next ❤️
I think a good way to think about this is that Kat started this race as a real long shot, up against someone with strong name ID in the area and against some insane PAC money. It’s truly incredible that she pulled up this close, and she has a very amazing career ahead of her. She ain’t done yet.
Sometimes in mine I’m driving up a road so steep that I’m literally dangling from the steering wheel while trying to steer. I guess the car doesn’t have a seat in this scenario. I also frequently dream myself driving off an incomplete road and just falling forever xd dreams are so fun!!
The press corps really can make this a scandal by focusing on his age and depleted stamina but nah.

The Japanese internment was known for similar abuses and conditions. I think history books, if they touch on this at all, paint it as if the Japanese just had to move into a certain area for a while. No. Many of them died and many more suffered. We have done this before.
Yeah, and a lot of people don’t realize that there were “only” like.. 6? death camps in Germany. The rest were concentration camps and they were rife with horrors. Maybe I’m just being pedantic I just think it’s important to use the most accurate terminology possible.
Communities in the most rural corners of the South have rejected these facilities. By banning the use of pre-existing warehouses, communities will continue to get a say.
Yeah and with the way they’re not providing medical care right now, one has to wonder what kind of medical waste they anticipate. Even a year ago I might have given it the benefit of the doubt (prob not tbh). But now? Seeing the people they hire and the suffering they cause? These are death camps.
