What I intended to be a donor VIC-20 ended up getting repaired. I did a PAL conversion it, which consisted of replacing the crystal, KERNAL ROM, and of course the VIC chip. It's working great - but now I'm back to looking for a good keyboard for my other VIC-20 😆

Hopefully the voter response to this debacle known as Trump's second term will mean the party is crippled for decades. But, I have thought that before and been proven wrong.

I love that the A600 & A1200 basically support SD cards "out of the box" with a simple PCMCIA adapter and driver.

Update on the "donor board", I replaced the VIC-I chip and it's freaking working! Think I'll do a PAL conversion on this one.

The donor board has no video signal. Voltages and reset look good, but there's no clock signal. I tried replacing the 7402 but it didn't make a difference. Bad crystal, maybe?
