I stand in solidarity with these Maine and New Hampshire workers. This is why we need to hold this President accountable and take our country back.

These are skilled workers doing critical jobs for our national security, and now they’re being stripped of basic protections around safety, pay, and working conditions. Trumps union busting undermines workers and their families, puts employees at risk, and weakens the very systems we rely on.
Hundreds of workers at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard just lost their union protections with the stroke of the President's pen. It is an outrageous act that should concern us all.

No one is coming to save us. It is up to us to build the type of future we want to see in Maine. That has been a guiding force in my life growing up in a small community where you depend on your neighbors. That same approach, showing up for our neighbors and each other, will guide me as governor.
We kicked off our Maine’s Next Chapter Tour with a packed house in Bar Harbor.
After a day of MDI visits, we had a great town hall and talked about the challenges people in Hancock County are facing. It's time for bold solutions for our state.
Hope to see you at our next stop in Machias!
Big news! We’re hitting the road for the Maine’s Next Chapter tour, hosting town halls and happy hours across the state.
We’ll be in communities listening, answering questions, and talking honestly about the work ahead.

A 10-unit housing project in Skowhegan might seem small, but small projects add up and can make a big difference. Projects like this help people stay, work, and build their lives in Maine. As Governor, I’ll help advance housing that fits the needs all over Maine.
My heart aches reading about this unspeakable tragedy in Louisiana. We must put a stop to the epidemic of gun violence in this country and do more to protect victims of domestic violence.

It was great to see my friend, former State Senator Dennis Damon, last week.
Dennis and I worked together on marriage equality in 2009. He led the charge in the Senate, and I was proud to help carry it in the House. It wasn’t an easy fight, but we both knew it was the right thing to do.
The passage of a first-in-the-nation moratorium on data centers was another huge step. The bill would stop these centers until Maine has adequate regulation in place. We’ve seen in states how these centers can drive up energy costs and have significant environmental impact, which Maine can't afford.
The Legislature made some big strides on climate this session. The passage of the Climate Super Fund bill was an amazing first step. We need understand the impact of fossil fuel pollution in order to hold these corporations accountable.
Farmers are the backbone of Maine’s rural communities. I spent my early years on our family farm. Maine can and should do more to feed the people of our state and region. As Governor, I’ll partner with our incredible farmers to do just that and grow this incredible part of our state’s economy.
My housing plan prioritizes the needs of our neighbors over the top 1%. Implementing a Millionaires Tax can allow us to build more housing Mainers can afford and lower costs for working families. I’m glad to see the legislature asking the wealthiest to contribute their fair share.
We’re on the air!
“Time” starts airing today, because there’s never a wrong time to do the right thing.
Growing up in a small town prepared me in so many ways for the work I’m trying to do today. Knowing everyone in my community taught me that every voice matters, and that’s a perspective I plan to take with me to the Blaine House.
We’re turning the page on rising costs and writing a new chapter for Maine families.
Mainers are navigating whether they can afford to build a future here. My plan ensures that Maine’s future is written by and for everyone, not just the few.

I just released my plan to lower costs and raise wages for Maine families. Because working hard should be enough to get by. I’m ready to write Maine’s next chapter—a state you can afford to call home.
I’m proud to share my plan to tackle affordability and lower costs for Maine families.
From housing and health care to energy, child care, and property taxes, this plan takes on the biggest pressures people are feeling every day.

Experience matters in this race, and I have what it takes to get things done for Mainers on day one. Thank you, Gail, for lifting up what’s at stake and why leadership matters. I am ready to deliver and get the job done for Maine people.
With less than two months left to go, the momentum is real. Every night, people are showing up in living rooms, kitchens, and community centers. We’ve built our campaign around friends inviting friends and thousands of real conversations about what matters most to Mainers.
The June 9th primary will be a Ranked Choice Election. Want to see how your vote might be counted? Let me break it down for you.
No one should have to choose between health care and paying their bills. As governor I’ve got a plan to lower health costs and improve the care for Maine people.
In Maine, we LOVE absentee voting. Request your ballot today!
People are doing their research on those of us running for office. Check out these google searches…here’s what people have searched about me!
This is not who we are as Americans.
This is a moment of inflection. Mainers won’t abide a cruel and reckless president, and they are calling for leaders who will stand up for our democracy, our neighbors, and our future. That’s why I’m all in on this race. No one is coming to save us. It is up to all of us.
As governor, my plan is to end veteran homelessness in my first year in office and do more to help Mainers find housing they can afford. While Trump's reckless actions will make our work harder, it makes electing a governor who prioritizes housing and veterans even more urgent.
Six forums in two weeks, and we’ve covered a lot, from tribal sovereignty to rural health care to the juvenile justice system to the future of Maine’s tourism industry. It’s a full schedule, but it’s also incredibly encouraging to see people show up and really engage in the future of our state.
The 14th Amendment is clear, and Trump's attempts to undermine birthright citizenship are as dangerous as they are out of touch. As governor, I will always stand up for that promise and ensure Maine remains a welcoming place for all.
