Too old for Tumblr, born just in time for Livejournal and I have to be honest, people were talking like this there too. It may just be a product of youth and inexperience, but these posts used to have their own place on the internet.

There's a lot of essentialist posts popping up from the other sites like this one that has a distinct Tumblr smell to them.
