Maybe this is the way they all forget what they've said.

I talked to numerous people in Newtown. They were surprised to hear Trump condemn Alex Jones for his Sandy Hook denial, because they expressly asked Trump to disavow this in 2017 during his first term and he refused.
I've got quotes from them and the backstory here:

So, Alex Jones was a a "nutjob" after all, huh Trump?
Well why didn't you just say so when you were asked to?

Middle of clip of truth social post from Trump. Text reads: Bankrupt Alex Jones, who says some of the dumbest thing, and lost his entire fortune, as he should have, for his horrendous attack on the families of the Sandy Hook shooting victims, ridiculously claiming it was a hoax.
9 years ago, the Newtown Board of Education requested that the President denounce Jones and the hoaxers and admit the tragedy of 12/14.
This is the first response to that request that I am aware of.
I mean, "yes, alt text" but also, nobody should have to read this shit.
This is why there is no giving a single inch on “AI.” I do not give a fuck if “it actually is helpful for some things.”
Radical thought: Pursue impeachment now BECAUSE IT HELPS YOU WIN MIDTERMS IN NOVEMBER.
People want fighters.
Call things what they are (impeachable) and act accordingly (impeach).
aw, dudes, that IS the midterm focus!
To give a little credit; they are trying to get something that will stick with the MAGA crowd.
Clearly, that time has well past and they should only be pandering to those who want a beheading, but at least we can acknowledge why some of these crazy takes are out there.
It's not that he lies in a knowing, contradictory way so much he doesn't consider anything he's ever said previously to count.
It's only the words coming out of his mouth at the moment that matter, and those can be overwritten seconds later by new ones.
As a child at the time, I remember thinking Ronald Regan was great because he "solved" it. No humiliation after that.
Trump's problem is that he doesn't have the emotional depth to ever get over a humiliation, even one that didn't happen to him personally. What a maroon.
Guess who definitely had a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein...
"Melania Trump says she did not have relationship with Jeffrey Epstein"
Say @robertgarcia.bsky.social? Now that Melania has stated clearly that she was not an Epstein victim, couldn't you (and @rokhanna.bsky.social and Massie) ask DOJ to unredact instances where they have redacted her name?
It was the same comedy that has put jerks in their place for centuries. I don't think it was a done deal that he would destroy the world for it. It takes more than one man to destroy the world--oh wait, he had Citizens United and a whole bunch of aggrieved people to help him. Did not see that coming
He never will. He lacks the emotional capacity to get over it.
Seth wonders too, I think. I don't blame him myself, but I wouldn't want that over my head either.
Does this really count? They gave the answer themselves and didn't even make me read beyond the headline.
Also, the article talks about the "mullet" being popular without ever showing one. I'm sure there was one in my high school yearbook. Wait, let me look...
Screenshot of a generic advertisement-like link to a web article. 3 photos of high school portraits from the 80s: girl boy, girl text: What Teenagers Really Looked Like in the Early 1980s, According to Senior Portraits description below: Rare Historical Photos The word "Rare" has been circled.
I take offense to this. These photos are in everyone's home sitting in their basement. They are not "Rare."
Heck, I'm sure I even know the woman in the photo on the right. I either dated her for a month or she turned me down. I admit, I don't remember.

My jokes about having "not even gotten my pants on yet" fall flat in a world where so many people will go out in public in their pajamas.
There was probably only negotiation because it was the first time someone on the US side showed up for it. Also, we didn't get anything new. We didn't even get the status quo from a month ago.
So, no, the evil threats are, in fact, not good.
Exactly the position you would expect them to take (I did anyway). Push the needle. It's ok that I made a terrible threat because it worked.
(Spoiler, it probably didn't actually "work" either, they just want to claim that's why there was negotiation. )
cum on
No wonder he had Trump do a tirade and back down. Now Putin gets to do the same, but doesn't have to back down.
@jahanahayes.bsky.social join please!
Can't imagine any good lawyer would work with her.
Our government could pay for programs to help people if they stopped spending on bombs to kill them. Just sayin'.
I thought I was sick of the thought of space travel.
Turned out I was really sick of billionnaire vanity projects.
What NASA's doing is incredible and has got me excited about space exploration again.
