If memory serves me correctly I think EA only had a licence to use active NHLPA player names so I lobbied to have my name on one of the retired numbers hanging from the rafters in Edmonton, but no luck. 😸 Can't remember what they ended up doing with that
I worked at EA Vancouver from 1995-98. Mostly PC hardware compatibility testing on sports games. Also Need For Speed 2, Dungeon Keeper, etc. My name is in the credits under QA for anything I tested. Might also be on an EA easter egg team in NHL98, but I forget
