Letterboxd Friday. Last four watched. Images of the posters for The Killer (1989) a rewatch of this all time John Woo classic on the big screen, There’s Something About Mary (1998) first time seeing this since its initial run and it was kinda disappointing, David Byrne’s American Utopia (2020) this film version of Byrnes Broadway show is incredible, and Twister (1996) first time watch. Bill Paxton rules, but this movie is pretty lackluster and boring.

It’s excellent! Brolin is no nonsense in the lead, the supporting cast is great, and the late 70s street level NYC setting gives it so much atmosphere and character.
