Paper Pushers Print Shop, Grand Opening Sunday 04/26/2026, 11AM - 5PM 1200 5th Ave, Seattle, WA Drinks, live portraits, zines, art books, and more!
it's here! we're opening a ZINE SHOP in downtown seattle -- stop by april 26th to browse books, try tasty drinks, or get a live portrait!! and also after april 26th, but minus the drinks etc
for sure!! feel free to bundle stickers into price groups as well (as in, each "title" can be several stickers as long as they're all priced the same) if that makes it easier to submit!
oh extremely cool project, thanks for the heads up!
definitely "whenever it's made send it our way!" and you can put the pseudonym under "Artist Name" and that's what we'll display :)
hahaha FINGERS CROSSED i'm excited but have no idea how this will go. a solid stretch of time at home is the dreammm though i hope it's treating you well!!!
ooh yeah totally submit issue 1 in that case! and feel free to make a second submission for issue 2 once you have it ready to roll, the form should be open through april at the very least :)
AHH THANK YOU hahaha i'm so excited!!! also omg let me know for sure if you're in seattle any time this summer (or any time in general ofc), would love to show you the shop and everything ๐๐
if you only have vol 1 of a longer series you are totally free to submit that though, we don't require the complete set to be done or anything
oh hmm, so i would say only submit books/zines you can reasonably produce physical copies of in a few weeks? the process is basically: you apply -> we contact you and ask for 5-10 copies -> you mail or drop off the books -> we sell them in the shop! if that makes sense?
yes totally! submit whatever you're most excited about putting in a shop
yesss can't wait to see the zines ๐๐
dm away!! uhh i think my dms are open hahaha but lmk if you run into any issues i haven't poked around the bsky settings in a minute
VERY excited!!!!

๐ญty sarah!!!
a long stretch of an accordion book standing upright. light falls through window cutouts in the pages on to the napping cat, who does a little stretch then goes back to sleep.
closed accordion book with a window cutout
first page of open accordion book. blue and orange window on the left, a cat napping in an armchair on the right
"catnap", 2025 / digital print
lmao still iterating on this concept a bit i took this book to a fair and reading it is KSDFL ORIENTATIONALLY LOCKED. which like, working as designed but also so so so stupid. anyway it's a book about "experiencing the weather you're already experiencing but smaller"
a small accordion book, closed. the cover is a pencil drawing of a ferry window from the interior, with the glass part of the window cut out revealing a sketch of the Seattle skyline on the page behind it
interior of the accordion book, a minimalist sketch of the Seattle harbor skyline looking south from downtown
skyline continued, crossing Puget sound and showing the outlines of Vashon and Bainbridge islands
"SEATTLE - BAINBRIDGE", 2025 / digital print of pencil sketch
a little book about taking the ferry
delicious pickles and beautiful zine the LUXURY
wah thank you!! i was so thrilled when i realized i had those 2 tones of kraft paper just laying around hahaha
thank you!! ๐
TY A!!!! ๐๐ i'm so excited by the possibilities of translucent vellum rn
thank you!!
this book will be on view at the William Paterson University Galleries in NJ through dec 4th!! www.wpunj.edu/articles/new... if you are nearby and go and take a photo i'll thank you forever lol i'm trapped on the west coast
TY SARAH! ๐ the translucent paper is SO fun to brainstorm ideas for hahaha
thank you jasmine!!
thank you!!! i feel like i've been unintentionally reducing the amount of drawing in my books to like zero hahahaha
a 2 inch by 2 inch book made of translucent paper with a single blue ripple and "6 08 2025" printed in red on the front. faded ripples are visible through the closed pages of the book
a spread of the book with ripples visible on both sides through the translucent pages
a different spread from within the same book
"2 sq. in. of rain at 9:15 AM on 8/6/2025" / digital print on translucent vellum
i held a sheet of paper in the little drizzle we got a few weeks back & took a slowmo video of the rain hitting it in order to transcribe 2 sq inches of rain from outside my front door to this book :)
TY ZOE!! the blue of the paper is doing so much carrying, i love to look at it
