Made sure it wasn't a fluke by applying the fix to both Obsidian and Spotify and yep, everything is showing perfectly fine now. I actually can't believe this.

You guessed it: I set Obsidian to run with XWayland instead of regular Wayland by editing the .desktop file, and the colors are correct.

What the fuck.

So is this a Wayland issue, something GPU driver related, or some mysterious third thing I'm not considering?

MASSIVE update on this: I remembered that I had issues with certain apps, mainly Electron-based ones, in my laptop. See, that thing is old as hell and I need to run everything through XWayland instead for it to not be borked. Coincidentally, every app affected by this color issue is Electron-based.
