Breaking: HHS’s ban on gender-affirming care is struck down. Rarely have I read a ruling this sharply worded.
“This case is one of a long list of examples of how a leader’s wanton disregard for the rule of law causes very real harm to very real people.”

Or the Molotov tossed at the Tesla offices or the fire at the Amazon warehouse or the fire at the NY warehouse or the fire at the California warehouse or the fire at the Oregon warehouse just yesterday or or or or yeah you’re too late probably.
When warehouse fires and Molotov cocktails start changing the position of the uber wealthy.
All hail Luigi.
It’s working.

Maybe we don’t need next day delivery. Maybe ignoring or stepping over dead bodies to make Amazon warehouse deadlines is in fact, bad.
A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue is sitting by himself, reading a book, as he hears a strange rumbling sound. Blue looks up from his book, looking confused. Blue, thinking: What kind of a person rearranges furniture this late at night? The noise repeats, and Blue turns his head to look towards the direction it came fron. Blue, still in thought: There it was again. Investigating the source of the sound, Blue finds Green sleeping on the floor. The noise he heard was Green snoring. Blue, thinking: Oh.

So Ppl cheered Iron Lung getting an actual theatrical release, treated like proper blockbuster media.
And now ppl are mad the last TADC is getting a short theater release before the public one because... Spoilers?
Either u support indie work or you don't, make up your minds.
I'm one of those trans women. I worked ground ops for Artemis I.
I am torn between celebrating the success of my friends and peers and grieving how my dream of working for NASA was shattered by hateful assholes in Tallahassee

Cancer is a whole category of disease so whenever people roll their eyes and say "when will we get a cure for cancer" like, we have been! There's so many treatments now!
Survival rates are now really high, and it depresses me that people don't seem to know about how much progress we've made!
Comic depicting Daz as the new house speaker. A politician attempts to repeal gay marriage based on the fact he thinks all gay people are pedophiles. This triggers an alarm, to which house speaker Daz explains that, because he is trying to pass law that harms minorities for no reason, and that it is based on opinion that holds no scientific of statistical grounds, has earned the politician "40 minutes in the Horse Fly Helmet". The politician protests, saying that he is being punished for having an opinion [continued on next page/image]
House Speaker Daz calmly explains that the politician is "playing victim, after being called out for trying to harm innocent people with new policy" and has thus, earned 30 extra minutes in the horse fly helmet. Panel 2 shows the helmet placed on the politician, as he screams in agony, thousands of hungry horseflies feasting on his face. The muffled screams continue into panel 3, as Daz and another politician (getting ready to speak) stand watching. The last panel shows Daz turning to the new politician, saying "ok, next topic! Pull funding from hospitals to...what was it again? DataCentres?" The politician recoils in a panic "D-did I say 'datacentres??' "
[NEW COMIC]
Damn, that new house speaker doesn't mess around.
It's honestly kind of mind-blowing that this is the first time in over fifty years that anybody has been able to take a picture like this. Images of the earth are completely familiar to us, but a human hasn't pointed a camera at the whole planet for half a century.
Please watch and share my new pilot called Deathahedron!
It took me a year to make it, it's made almost entirely with little models that I made and shot in my backyard. I had to make the costumes, hand animate the effects, it's a labor of love!

Oh no am I gonna get obvious bot accounts offering to beta read for me every time I talk about writing now 🫠
The anthology that inspired it isn't accepting submissions anymore, so Idk what I'll be doing with it when it's done. Maybe a magazine would accept it? I'd really like to get my prose properly published, maybe paid for it. 👉👈
... Dolphin thought, but I really need to be medicated for my ADHD.
I was trying yesterday to return to my spaceship/old sailing ship yuri short story but realized if I want it to work I'll have to actually know stuff. about boats.
Doing Wikipedia dives is only gonna do so much. I'll probably need to find a beta reader into boats to embarrass myself in front of. 🫠
Was just browsing the current issue of @radonjournal.bsky.social to see what sort of writing they have, and this one hit me emotionally in a way that's tough to describe. I love it. It's pretty short; give it a read.
