I had another dream about fishing with my brothers at a mountain lake. Am I... homesick??? 😱

I've been really busy working full time and other things. It's been difficult to juggle that and settling in. There's just so much to do, with learning legal things and the language.

Since moving to Japan, I have to learn how to make the meals that I grew up eating. Most Japanese people assume all Americans eat the same things, like toast and waffles. But I didn't have my first waffle until I was in my 20s and toast isn't a food to me lol.

I think it's really new because I don't see any images of it anywhere on google right now. I also think it's a Japan only label lol. I used this brand in the US but they just have the yellow label.

My boss said that he knew someone who lost a good chunk of his thumb at his work, but it grew back. It's a much worse injury than mine and that's what helps me feel better about this lmao

yeah its been so difficult. since my other thumb is having joint pains too it hasnt been easy.

since i'm in japan right now theres no antibacterial ointments OTC, but i did put disinfectant on it and a bandage that works like magic.

i am but the thumb going through it.

I accidentally cut a piece of my thumb off the other day.

I wonder if my dog misses me.

Been unpacking and trying to improve QoL at my new place while working full time. There's a small window of time on weekdays for me to do cleaning, cooking, and handy work cuz a certain little sister is just existing. 😂

It was your average tuna salad sandwich.

But anyway, I'm alive. I have to adjust to concrete environment again.

My luggages all felt so heavy to me but I knew I was just extremely exhausted. After getting some rest during the flight, I really thought TSA removed something cuz they felt lighter. They're all around 50 lbs each.

So that wasnt fun. It cost $8 to use a cart at LAX. My parents also dropped me off at the opposite end of the airline I was taking, so I had to push all my luggages around for 15 minutes, but they all fell off the cart at a slope..
