Still not feeling great, but better enough to let him lean on me and to pet him while telling him that he’s so pretty.

I take care of him and he takes care of me. 💜
Moe the Dog, in bed, staring at me attentively.
"Hey mom, do you feel better yet?"
Not quite, but we’re getting there, bud.
You know I must be feeling like garbage if I’ve ordered food delivery, which I do. My thinking is, if I’m eating at home, why wouldn’t I just cook my own food?
Do they even have editors anymore?
That’s supposed to be cripes, but I literally couldn’t see my phone.
Now running both phin coffee pots and brewing the most caffeinated Viet robusta coffee I can find in the house.
Crimes; it’s a migraine with a visual aura. gonna be down for the count for the day.
I feel like just a few years ago, people were much more conscientious about asking about the composition of a group or panel they were joining. Is it a manel? Is it a wanel (all white)?
It's wild that we've generally gotten to the point where we're thrilled just if a group is well-intentioned.
Every bit of wildlife on the swamp is actively trying to hurt you always
Guess who stepped on a caterpillar of doom right when we started our walk?
I’ve tried to get him to learn to use shoes, but it’s just a nonstarter with him.
Finally, an answer after more than 30 minutes for a call that lasted 90 seconds. JFC.
I know the wait times get worse after 5 pm but JFC
Like, who knew they could get worse, right?

COMPLAINT 1. Kashyap P. Patel, the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, brings this lawsuit to hold Defendants The Atlantic Monthly Group LLC and its staff writer, Sarah Fitzpatrick, accountable for a sweeping, malicious, and defamatory hit piece published on April 17, 2026. Defendants are of course free to criticize the leadership of the FBI, but they crossed the legal line by publishing an article replete with false and obviously fabricated allegations designed to destroy Director Patel’s reputation and drive him from office. Indeed, Fitzpatrick could not get a single person to go on the record in defense of these outrageous allegations, instead relying entirely on anonymous sources she knew to be both highly partisan with an ax to grind and also not in a position to know the facts. Defendants published the Article with actual malice, despite being expressly warned, hours before publication, that the central allegations were categorically false; despite having abundant publicly available information contradicting those allegations; despite obvious and fatal defects in their own sourcing; despite The Atlantic’s well- documented, long-running editorial animus toward Director Patel; despite a request deliberately structuring the pre-publication process to avoid receiving information that would refute their narrative. Defendants cannot evade responsibility for their malicious lies by hiding behind sham sources. PARTIES
I know it's a losing battle, but for the love of God stop doing this. It's a complaint, not a 19th century serial.
He was about to say "we did already indict President...", but that's neither here nor there.
So I should keep up with my law-related shitposting, you say?
I heard that you have to declare it, loudly, three times, kind of like bankruptcy.
Ding ding ding
The old Eldridge Street Synagogue is so beautiful.

"I can’t believe you just said that; ugh."
I’m a little hungover this morning because we when to Sammy’s Roumanian Steakhouse last night. I’ve never had so much chopped liver, schmaltz, pickles, and vodka in one meal.
This dude was wearing a hoodie that says "2018 Global Financial Crisis" across the front and I was astounded.
