Stupid claim in my opinion. There are a lot of other groups that maps forget, like the first federation. The patriarchy does shrink in the 23rd and 24th centuries but it still officially exists. It’s also a pirate haven by then though
Where does it say unrestricted access to Kzinti territory?
Yes, which I think is kinda funny how that happened. ETA Indi works best for everything except the location of Cait
As you stated before our views on the Kzinti are different. The devastating defeat that we see in Known space isn’t the same here. The Kzin attacked earth once but lost the battle. The Vulcans join late into the war and crush the kzin into peace.
Well after the treaty of Sirius the Kzin are still themselves but use private PMCs for deniability. They are still a threat to the federation but now more similar in strength to the tholians than the federation itself
The history books? My book is set to be an in universe text book about the war. My treaty of Sirius is in 2122 and the 4 separate wars are a misconception and the war being taught incorrectly by starFleet academy(imo)
Just wait and see. It’ll all come together. The Kzinti were always a militarized species so they always have enemies
By TAS the Patriarchy is actually less developed. The Kzin war is the peak of the patriarchy tech wise.
Yes but the kzin had a numerical advantage even within their battleships. They had ships to rival the size of the Vulcans and had far more of them than Vulcan.
I do agree he is unwilling to just because Spock is Vulcan is weird but the kzin generally underestimating the Vulcans because of xenophobia makes perfect sense
Yes but this wasn’t about flexing. It was about showing not just your family members, but all of Kzinhome that the Kzinti military is still strong and dominant.
The Kzin don’t know the Vulcans and humans are working together and even if they did, they wouldn’t trust the data. The Kzin believe the Vulcans as weak because they are vegetarians
When the Kzin take the database from the Godavari, they have almost everything that was general knowledge about earth in 1992. The colony was meant to use a lot of that data to educate a new generation but now the kzin had it. Also Telepaths(imo) are rare so not every ship has one.
The decentralized governance you envision does have to come from somewhere.
Chapter 2 is here! Explore the Proxima Centauri System before the Kzinti come to conquer it all. docs.google.com/document/d/1...
It has definitely been a while since I’ve posted on here but I have news. Chapter 2 of NineLives will be out on October 13th just in time for indigenous peoples’ day.
In my lore, the Susquehanna class also serves during the Man-Kzin war though the timeline is different. I was allowed to use the Susquehanna class by you and I thank you again.
First Contact day is a here! We all rejoice on this day but before it was an official holiday in 2103 humans rarely celebrated the day.In the days prior it was used as an important day, Navy campaigns or political talks started on this day because of its importance.
Happy first Contact Day!
I love to see Burke Classes. Tiny destroyers and pretty cute. I’ve said before but I love what y’all do with mixing DIS and TOS designs.
Nine Lives is Finally out. I’ve delayed long enough. Here is chapter 1. docs.google.com/document/d/1...
Chapter 1 should be out in two week if not before then. It details human and Kzinti first contact and the years leading up to the war. It shows Cochrane’s rise after the Phoenix flight and how unprepared humanity is for interstellar war.
Hello everyone, this the Official Account of Nine Lives. A Star Trek fan fiction of the 21st century’s Man-Kzinti war written by a 23rd century historian. I have plenty ideas to make my coverage of the war unique.
