Tuesday is THE LAST DAY Virginians can vote on redistricting. If you haven't yet, please make the time! And vote yes too, please.
White House budget director Russ Vought has been key to implementing the Trump agenda. But before joining the administration, he was a central figure in drafting Project 2025, the controversial policy playbook by the Heritage Foundation. https://to.pbs.org/4tSN7cq

Franklin Graham’s role, along with political pastors like him since 2016, is to convince evangelicals that the blasphemous and sinful things Trump does on a daily basis really aren’t blasphemous and sinful. Trump couldn’t care less about religion or these people, he uses and mocks them.
The Trump admin has abruptly canceled an $11 million contract w/ Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami to shelter & care for migrant children who enter the U.S. alone, ending a relationship between the Church & the U.S. govern. dating back to the 1st arrivals of Cuban exiles in South Fla.
[screenshot of social media post] Donald J. Trump @realDonald Trump Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy. He talks about "fear" of the Trump Administration, but doesn't mention the FEAR that the Catholic Church, and all other Christian Organizations, had during COVID when they were arresting priests, ministers, and everybody else, for holding Church Services, even when going outside, and being ten and even twenty feet apart. I like his brother Louis much better than I like him, because Louis is all MAGA. He gets it, and Leo doesn't! I don't want a Pope who thinks it's OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon. I don't want a Pope who thinks it's terrible that America attacked Venezuela, a Country that was sending massive amounts of Drugs into the United States and, even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers, drug dealers, and killers, into our Country. And I don't want a Pope who criticizes the President of the United States because I'm doing exactly what I was elected, IN A LANDSLIDE, to do, setting Record Low Numbers in Crime, and creating the Greatest Stock Market in History. Leo should be thankful because, as everyone knows, he was a shocking surprise. He wasn't on any list to be Pope, and was only put there by the Church because he was an American, and they thought that would be the best way to deal with President Donald J. Trump. If I wasn't in the White House, Leo wouldn't be in the Vatican. Unfortunately, Leo's Weak on Crime, Weak on Nuclear Weapons, does not sit well with me, nor does the fact that he meets with Obama Sympathizers like David Axelrod, a LOSER from the Left, who is one of those who wanted churchgoers and clerics to be arrested. Leo should get his act together as Pope, use Common Sense, stop catering to the Radical Left, and focus on being a Great Pope, not a Politician. It's hurting him very badly and, more importantly, it's hurting the Catholic Church! President DONALD J. TRUMI
We can't afford two more years of this. We may not even survive two more years of this.
Time for some guardrails.
Virginia, vote YES for checks and balances on April 21.
Don't sit this one out.

Artemis II astronauts emerge one-by-one from their moon capsule after returning to Earth with an ocean splashdown.
Headline reads: White House budget seeks to scrap 54 major NASA science missions. Over an image of Jupiter.
Experts found that the White House budget request for the upcoming fiscal year could defund 54 NASA science missions, including a spacecraft currently studying Jupiter and two planned Venus missions: www.scientificamerican.com/article/whit...
Paul Dans, the architect of the controversial conservative blueprint known as Project 2025, has ended his bid to challenge South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham in the Republican primary this summer.
Parachutes popping open on cue, and the capsule splashing down EXACTLY when it was projected to.
I hope Elon Musk is sadly gazing towards Houston right now, a tear in one eye, and feeling painful pangs of competence-envy.
If you’ve been moved & inspired by Artemis, NASA needs your help. Literally during A2, the president proposed cutting NASA science 47%, canceling 54 missions, including many already in-flight. To help stop these cuts, check out @planetarysociety.bsky.social www.planetary.org/save-nasa-sc...
Artemis II Return NASA's Orion spacecraft carrying Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, and Mission Specialist Christina Koch from NASA, along with Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen from the CSA (Canadian Space Agency), splashes down in the Pacific Ocean near San Diego, California, at 5:07 p.m. PDT, (8:07 p.m. EDT) on Friday, April 10, 2026. The Artemis II test flight launched on Wednesday, April 1, from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to begin its 10-day journey around the Moon for scientific discovery, economic benefits, and to build on our foundation for the first crewed missions to Mars. The amazing, letter-perfect performance of NASA this week is a ferocious rebuke to the right-wing fools who constantly tell us that for-profit businesses always do a job better than the government.
This flew under the radar: Trump's new acting AG Todd Blanche shut down major DOJ investigations into crypto companies, dealers, and exchanges as Pam Bondi's second-in-command — all while holding at least $159,000 in crypto assets himself.

"Isn’t Melania signaling others in the Trump administration and in Congress that it’s time to abandon ship, that it’s time to remove him from office? It should not have taken Melania Trump to spur this action. But one welcomes any helping hand in our current drama."

This is absolutely insane and 25th amendment grounds in and of itself
Iran understates the depth of the problem in declaring he is on “the brink of madness.” We need less sane washing, more explanation of Iran’s resilience/determination to wait us out, and increased attention to Trump’s serious mental deterioration and incapacity to make rational decisions.
Just gorgeous images to look at on the NASA Johnson Flickr this morning www.flickr.com/photos/nasa2...
Like a growing number of MAGA influencers, Cernovich openly talks about how he’s fed up with Trump. But what stands out is the issues that have made him so uneasy with the admin. — a mix of policy disappointments along with disillusionment over just how corrupt he believes it is.
This is an excellent summary of current circumstances
