Repainting/Re-imagining DOOM weapon sprites Part 3
Doom's shotgun always looked great, even with its literal toy proportions. I wanted to make it look like it was made of metal that's been through a few battles

LOL I HAD TO STARE AT IT FOR A WHILE, I just thought it looked sorta science fictiony
Repainting/Re-imagining DOOM weapon sprites Part 2
I wanted to retry the pistol again, but broke my rule of staying within the original silhouette of the OG sprites. I also tried to be more in the spirit of the original this time around.

I would have never guessed this was from a pinball game but anything is truly possible
Thanks!

that ending of one of the yt moonchild videos, what was the game over bit from???
it seems really familiar but I cannot figure it out the origin
What I do in these situations is just mentally convince myself that it was an elaborate drawing exercise or draft all along
Turns out the game came out three years ago and I thought it released last year OOPS
Point still stands though, weird to dump most of your fps arsenal stage one for ANY fps

Original Pistol pickup comes interpreted from the official mobile ports weapon wheel

Commission I did for a friend of mine. Their OC Commander for GIRLS' FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM, so the uniform might seem a bit familiar.
freddy isn't gonna be happy when he hears that the cruise was scuttled
MFW I watch a new multi-hour long Indie FPS game introduce 70% of its arsenal in the very first level
instead of pacing it over the span of the whole game
I don't know, maybe I'm the weird one
I have many enemies who wish for my downfall and will get mad when I make the super shotgun have one really wide barrel
I thought about that, honestly I'm not sure what I'd do other than fix the atomic logo on the shotgun being slanted in the idle frame
And uh, ppppphhhhbbhbhbh UHHH Nothing else really comes to mind! Duke3d sprites are pretty good
I pissed off a few boomers with my BLOOD 1997 sprite repaints but I wonder if I'd upset more if I did repaints of the DOOM weapon sprites lmao
I might for fun
Here are all of the mugshots I've done for Super Wolfenstein 3D thus far! Some of them are just for giggles and won't be used, but I've had a lot of fun making expressions for this dude! ๐

Bob (& Bob) portrait I made yesterday, with some poses that some may recognize
Like I get it. The engine has some sort of expectation in terms of content made with it- a lot of METAL HELL type stuff is normal
I'll admit I find some pleasure in showing off Treasure Tech to people and seeing them pleasantly surprised by how different it is to usual DOOM mods
I remember years ago when I was looking for composers to work with, I was approached by several (very talented!) metal artists solely because I work with the DOOM engine
The amount of "Oh."s I got when I was like "can you do 90s SEGA racing fusion" was extremely funny
a pic of me in front of a wav file thinking "oh woah what the shit. a WAV file? for 20 smackaroos?" imposed over the Spider Man...No More! comic panel
whoops been busy havent updated this in a bit, 10 VOICE REQUEST SLOTS are open to the public. just be sure to read the rules before sending something my way, Let's Audio Together ๐๐ฌ๐

A drawing of the Mjolnir Recon 54, aka Security Guard/Officer character, who is a protagonist of the original classic Marathon video game series. He is a human-cyborg wearing green colored armor (in my depiction, it's more skin tight, and based on the in game sprites of the character), a huge helmet with a visor covering half of his face, leaving only the the lower portion of it available (i.e, mouth, chin, the tip of the nose). He is holding two short double barrelled shotguns with lever action mechanisms for reloading. He is pointing one of them towards the camera, looking ready for a fight. In the background, it's an abstract backdrop representing one of the screens of a computer terminal that are featured in the games, with Marathon logo displayed.
