So if you join a conversation, and they all begin hamfistedly shutting you down whenever you open your mouth, and they don't laugh at your jokes, and one guy has a disproportionate amount of grip on the conversational steering wheel, know that THEY'RE the odd ones, and they don't deserve you.

One of the WORST feelings online is when you don't know you're dealing with a clique. So you join a supposedly open conversation that anyone can join and then everyone else makes you feel like YOU'RE the weirdo.
