I’m neither advocating for or against it but age-related tax advantages are clearly tilting the scale.
You can make an argument for it but pretending it’s not is … intentional blindness.

I agree, but there are also programs like Enhanced Star in NY that discriminate in the reverse direction.
So he's admitting this latest war was completely unnecessary?
Next question should be "then why are you keeping it closed."
‘The 30% surge in condom costs underscores how the Middle East war, which has already upended energy markets and raised prices for food to fertilizers, is disrupting virtually every aspect of life for consumers.’ www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
Sure, if you want to disable whole platoons at a time that live and work in close quarters this is a good idea.
Thank you.
CATL has launched its third-gen Shenxing LFP battery, featuring charging speeds: 10%-35% SOC in 1 minute, 10%-80% in 3 minutes and 44 seconds, 10%-98% in 6 minutes and 27 seconds, and 10%-98% in 9 minutes at -30 degrees Celsius.
Because I've been talking about how Trump spends his time (and forgot golf), linking @pbump.com's tracker. In recent weeks Trump had his 365th day of golf across the two terms.

Just as Republicans bringing up their big beautiful bill which gave pennies to the non-rich while allowing POTUS policies that skyrocketed costs won't bring them accolades,
Trump talking about other (lost) wars while losing one unlikely to be well received.
First TV ad is officially on the air! If you didn't catch it, here's the gist:
Stealing is bad. Stealing from taxpayers is worse. As governor, I'll make jail time mandatory for those who misuse taxpayer dollars.
This is the start of the repricing of inference. It's simply too expensive at scale to subsidize.
This is going to cause friction and you'll start to see pressure on end users to show increased margins and profits from AI usage (which early adopters should be showing but are not).
Here we go.
This is news for today. Finally, someone (Microsoft) admitted that the real running cost of AI infrastructure massively exceeds the income from it.
I expect similar posts from other AI giants to follow.

I think it’s bad that the president casually refers to a leader of the opposition as a “traitor.”
Not a man who knows to stop digging when he's in a hole.
Further he's now surrounded by people telling him he's close to hitting oil/gold.
He'll get his low interest rates if he has to create a worldwide recession to merit them.
And he'll get it ... even if he has to destroy the world economy first to merit it.
The really strange thing about the tariffs is the constant harping on business media about the difficulty of refunding the large number (hundreds of millions?) of transactions.
They had to track these to charge them in the first place. Are they not keeping detailed logs of monies paid? What?
Seniority rules make keeping politicians forever useful for their constituents.
Parties should place limits on these rules to encourage turnover.
Notably, this incident does not correspond to any of the videos posted online by SOUTHCOM.
... "A fundraising event to support 'programs to educate the public and the value of the First Amendment and a free press' should not have a featured speaker who is the biggest peacetime threat to the First Amendment and a free press in American history," writes @billscher.bsky.social.
Taken together, these four features can create a trancelike state that can keep us stuck on social media apps or video games for hours. Children are particularly vulnerable. n.pr/4mH6i6s

2025 Politico headline: Trump on Texas redistricting: ‘We are entitled to 5 more seats’
John Gramlich skeet quoting Trump in NYT today: Trump: “I don’t know if you know what gerrymandering is, but it’s not good.”
A sowing/reaping for the ages
Gas, tax refunds and maybe a little frontrunning of expected inflation.
Will wait for deets.

Public opinion is _so_ bad on the economy and inflation that _any_ attempt by Republicans to even bring up the subject is likely to weigh against them.
"We got you bigger tax refunds." is only going to make people mad.
This is insane.
Very useful for things that are 'good enough' if you have the base to judge the output.
The problem of course is when people use it and assume correctness, or are incapable of judging correctness.
And we don't have good visibility into how it's affecting the publics notion of truth.
