With the recent firing of 100 FAA employees, a just announced new acting head of the FAA, and an air disaster yesterday that by all initial accounts seems preventable, how are people supposed to feel safe in the air?

I’m not blaming Biden nor am I undermining my support for him. I’m simply raising a question about how this situation unfolded and whether there was an opportunity for him to get ahead of it. It’s possible to support someone while also critically examining their actions or strategy.

I’ve been following along this entire time. My point is why didn’t Biden issue a stay? Why is Biden allowing Trump to look like the hero?

Why didn’t Biden do this then?

I don’t care who claims responsibility for reinstating access to TikTok as long as the “new” version of the app doesn’t amplify extremist rhetoric or undermine democracy

SMDH…relatives from Texas called to check in on us (we are 6 hours drive away from LA fires) and then they proceed to talk about the smelt fish and lack of water to fight the fires. Fighting the misinformation engine is never ending and exhausting.

Unpopular opinion: Thanksgiving food doesn’t excite me. The turkey is bland, the sides are heavy without depth, and most dishes rely too much on nostalgia, not flavor. Every year I just go with the flow and wonder if anyone else secretly feels the same way.
