Usually backdrops only set the scene but on this piece it's very important for the piece in many ways!

Hi I’m Val/Gyr, I’ve been playing since 5th ed 40k but lost a bunch in a housefire. Rejoined in 10th, I’m all-in on Genestealer Cults now!

A kroxigor, a giant crocodile man, holding a big warpick made of stone and gold and obsidian posed ready to strike over its head. Its skin is light blue, its scales dark blue, and it is adorned with gold decorations and purple feathers. The Tau pathfinder leader Darkstrider, taking cover behind a low concrete wall. His skin is bright blue, his armour a blue-grey camo, and his clothes black. He is deploying tiny round drones, with red casings and yellow lenses. He has a yellow lens over one eye, one red shoulder and antennae, and a brown ponytail shaped by yellow bands.
