The Columbus City School District just outed every trans kid whose parents allowed them to change their name in the school’s database. Without notice, CCS switched from preferred names to legal names in class rosters, Google Forms, emails & much more. Outed trans kids are being harassed.

Severe ME has only tiny slivers of red, orange, green, blue and purple. Very Severe ME has only a tiny sliver of green.
I've been thinking about how to explain the challenge of living with ME/CFS and created this cartoon visualization.
Imagine the life of someone without ME is a rainbow of activities that each take a certain amount of energy.
ME limits your energy, and thereby the vibrancy of your life.
I prefer to call them accomplices when I want them to know the contempt I hold for them; quisling works when one wants plausible deniability (since there's a non-zero chance they wouldn't know what that meant.) Appeaser implies that they have no other choice - bowing down to fascism is a choice.

Wait until somebody tells him you need to have a social security number to file for social security benefits - watch his brain explode. I would be willing to bet that SSA vets that the proffered number belongs to the person submitting the application as well.

Trump's new executive orders aim to dismantle DEI programs and accessibility programs.
Companies, schools, and institutions must resist the fear and confusion of these orders by doubling down on our commitment to equal opportunity for everyone, regardless of their background.
As of this moment, the entire federal government is in violation of the Civil Rights Act and the 14th Amendment —not b/c the government has ended DEIA programs, but b/c the government is discriminating against employees and new hires based on the color of their skin.
