So what does Franklin Graham and the other suck up evangelicals make of this or is hypocrisy now a virtue not a sin?

Not the fault of your films but of all the lazy Americans who did not get off the couch to vote for democracy not facism

I hate when fantasy films I made a long time ago begin to come true in real life.

Just wanted to print a Word document but #Microsoft demanded I sign in but also use Authenticator on my phone. Which didn’t work. So glad I had #pages on my iPad to open the document & print it. Office has become an irritator nightmare to use for the plain consumer.

Exactly. The reason podcast interviews with history authors can be more efficient than reading long over detailed books

If people are upset about this then why not get off the couch and vote. With so many not exercising their right to vote why not let others taking an interest and paying taxes have a say. I believe taxation without representation is a famous phrase!

For the first time in 60 yrs watching Australian Tv- I just saw an ad for Texas tourism!!! US tourism must be desperate!!! #USTourism

I think US voters have to start thinking beyond their own hip pocket and take some interest in the immense power of the US & turn up to vote. Appalling how many sit on the couch. Democracy requires a tiny bit of effort at the least

Corporations demand perfection from workers, but AI gets unlimited slack. LLM users have bottomless patience for inconsistent tools, and no grace left for their colleagues. What if we could flip it around?

“AI can make mistakes” might as well be the slogan of our era. Even boosters admit that you need to spin the vibe code slot machine a few times to get a jackpot.

An employee with that degree of consistency would be fired.

So how do we redirect some of that unlimited grace from machines to humans?

In the first years of Nazi concentration camps the conditions weren’t as bad as ICE centres today. US deluding themselves if they just think they are better than 1943-5 nazis. You are on a faster track to collapse.

Screenshot of a CNN segment shared by Acyn. A split-screen shows commentator Lydia Moynihan on the left and Kevin O’Leary on the right during a heated exchange. The chyron reads, “Obama: Dems need to avoid scolding and ‘virtue-signaling.’” The post quotes O’Leary referencing China and concentration camps, and McGowan responding about West Virginia.

I spent my childhood inside of American concentration camps. I know one when I see one. And that is what ICE is building.

This is like all right wing slogans. Ask for specifics and there is just fatuous banal examples quoted. There is no substance to Reforms analysis

Leaders of the so-called “pro-life, small government” party who relentlessly warn of tyranny are standing by as masked agents roam the country and brutalize its people. The hypocrisy isn’t surprising — but it’s staggering. Remember this.

Speaking from Australia that has compulsory voting - I’m amazed how Americans talk about their great democracy but only get off the couch to vote if their hip pocket is affected. Where is the national sense of responsibility for what your powerful nation is doing?

Australia has a national electoral commission that runs the election and sets boundaries. But unlike the US officials at the top are not all partisan elected posts but career professionals who have pride in doing an ethical fair job.

No matter who you like least the point of democracy is voting. It should be compulsory. All the Americans who sat on the couch last year have given the world a shit storm we have to live with as much as you. You all need to take responsibility for the power you all have.
