Hidcote Gardens Part II.

Today's outing at Hidcote Gardens.
It is crazy warm in the South West right now, so of course there are even more blossom photos.
I understood "strawberry cheesecake" but that was it. I could try to Google this, but as you've apparently just eaten one would you mind enlightening me?
He's such a narcissist it's unbelievable. Even if no one was actually doing this he'd still say it, because he wants to control the narrative. Bleuch.
Spring is happening! It's happening right here and now! Four decades on this earth and the passing of time and the rotation of the planet are still fascinating.
I grew up with phrases like "wouldn't treat a dog like that!", but clearly the people saying that had never met your dogs.
To be fair I tried to make a post three times on the mobile browser version, every time it did nothing with no error messages. This was over the course of three days so not intermittent. I raised a bug ticket, have heard nothing, and ended up installing the app just to post.
If I can't tuck the waistband under my ribs in winter I ain't interested.
Physical media had that satisfying "kerCHUNK" to it. Cassette tapes, VHS, floppy disks, non-solid state hard drives, switches and dials. I appreciate the modern engineering, but I wouldn't complain if we put more tactile feedback in. There's a reason I use Cherry MX switched keyboards.
Not to encourage unhealthy behaviours or anything but YES.
What in the world ๐ can you imagine that on a shelf, you forget it's there, walk in, put the light on and wet yourself.
Unfortunately that would require a variety of people at the top to trade some of their huge piles of cash for empathy, so in short I'm not holding my breath. It needs legislation to force a change.
I love this stitch! I did a version with a very small gap in the middle and with a pointier end, in variegated green so it looks like leaves, for a cardigan.
Oh my word, then I wish you good luck, and may the streams of drunk peeing toffs meander down a different street ๐ค
I'm in an adjacent town, and yeah every year I don't go anywhere near it until that nonsense is over.
So this will be my fourth attempt to post this and I didn't save my post text anywhere. Instead, if this works you can guess where I went this time!
Omg that will look amazing
So many of these tiny dinosaurs around Gloucestershire today, and not a one with any road safety awareness ๐ glad you safely avoided this one.
This post has been blocked by the bot detection system apparently, so I can't sign right now. Can see it's nearly to 10k so I hope others can get it there.
General wariness of organised religions of any kind - certain people tend to gravitate to positions of power over others. I know some people who are Christian who genuinely would not hurt anyone and actively go out helping the community. On the other hand, some do awful things and call it Christian.
Personally, the rise of scraping everything online for AI generators, copyrights or legal issues ignored, would stop me posting any sketches just for fun these days. My photography website hasn't been updated for over a year because of this, and I'm considering taking it offline.
Many happy returns!
Hope everyone there is tucked up safe and warm.
Nightshade with Phantom Call.
Reinstalled #skyrim yesterday and a long list of mods, and am continuing to indulge in #holotaco nail polish. Not that I'm intentionally throwing myself into little comforting hobbies to keep the world at bay or anything.
Omg this is she trolling? Said she researched but didn't know anything about the weather, the concept of siesta, business opening hours, the housing, the food, or the culture. Lady expected America overseas but with some more greenery and mountains than Miami. Pffft.
Happy Imbolc to you too ๐
Stainless steel restaurant kitchen
Fantastic chicken karaage at Maneki Ramen in Worcester today, and a low-budget British horror sci-fi for the evening. Happy Imbolc everyone ๐
Is the third one optional? Because sometimes necessary doesn't feel very kind ๐
Honestly I had to Google them to find out what they were ๐ they look lush though. Pasties are always baked, possible exception in Scotland because they're mad and inventive when it comes to frying things.
