I admit I am not proud about the route that Hungary has taken under the leadership of Orban. However, not all of Hungarians are lost. Alas if you look at the wide world it is a much bigger symptom all around us. Some leaders really did their homework in history and take advantage of it in a bad way.

Last but not least: the anti-Orban supporters are peaceful folk. Orban knows this - there has to be a very dramatic event/decision for us to show up with force. Orban has the support of the aggressive folk so he does not care about if x amount of people show up in a square for y hours.

Furthermore, even though it's "only" the 40% of actual voters supporting Orban in the elections, the laws have been amended in a way so they still win with 2/3 majority.

It's not that simple, alas. Around 70-80% of the educated part of the country do not support Orban at all. However, thanks to the government's effort, the uneducated proportion of the population also increases, and of course they all care about that extra money at the end of the year.

Hey, don't mistake all the Hungarian citizens with maniac Orban. Most of us wants Orban's demise just like most of Europeans.
